Open Open Training Event

This training event is open to LOSSC club members and ITCA members. Numbers are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please download application form and send it directly to the address shown on the form with the fees.

The club boat compound will be open from 8.30am and the clubhouse will be open from 9.00am and will remain open all day for the use of the trainees and their supporters.

Sailing Instructions

Registration will be at the main clubhouse on Sunday morning from 9.00am

Entry fees and parking fees covering the whole weekend charged by Gosport Borough Council for use of the cliff top will be payable at registration.

There will be 4 races

These races will take place within the central Solent waters off Lee on the Solent. The race organisation and boat facilities will be at the club's signal station and boat compound. 

Sunday 25th   - First race will start at 1030hrs with 4  races.

Parking for Cars and Trailers

Cars and trailers must not be brought to or parked at the boat compound - there is no space on the road or in the compound. Cars and trailers must use the public parking available on street (away from the boat compound) or at the public car park to the east of the boat compound towards Gosport.

Arriving from the west, via Stubbington, Fareham or Lee on the Solent centre the main public car park is on the right just after pelican crossing opposite Beach Road. There will be a LOSSC marshal to direct participants to our parking area.

Boat berthing

Space may be available and will be allocated for visiting boats in one of the club's three boat compounds.

Prize Giving and Refreshment Arrangements

Snack food and drinks will be available from the signal station on both days.

The Prize Giving will be held after the final race on Sunday afternoon at the club's main clubhouse.

Social and Food Arrangements

Accommodation

Kingfisher campsite at Browndown Road is 1 mile to the east of the club's boat compound.
