full sailing programme, including club racing involving a number of classes,
dingy and
keel boat cruising, and informal sailing events.

 The published start time is the scheduled start time of the
first class start. All participants in fixtures should be on the water and
ready to race prior to the class warning signal. See below for
rules and other information.
Duty Race Officer, Patrol Boat Driver and assistants
are reminded that they should arrive at least one hour

The LOSSC Club Sailing Instructions
apply to all racing undertaken at the club unless specific
sailing instructions for particular events
are issued by the Sailing
Committee. The current club Sailing Instructions are available

Novice and cadet races will be run
to the
ISAF Introduction to Racing Rules.

A minimum of 3 races constitutes a
series. A race with only one starter will be valid. |

These sessions are included in the
sailing programme to provide an opportunity for members to relax
and enjoy their sailing
and to gain experience.
Safety boat cover will be provided during these periods with no
organised races or events will be run.
Club boats will be available for
hire by sailing members with RYA Basic Skills or with agreement
of the duty sailing committee
member or a club instructor. |
