In order to provide regular club racing a condition of sailing membership is to undertake a number of duties. These duties include:
Member's duties will be detailed on the club duty rota issued by the sailing committee.
Click here to see the 2008 rota Failure to fulfil allocated duties, or to find a suitable replacement, may result in a fine being issued. Race officers, patrol boat drivers and their assistants will receive average points for that race towards that series - please make sure your name and sail number are on the results sheet. Foul weather gear may be required for Race Officers for the some races where a committee boat start maybe used. PLEASE BE READY TO COMMENCE YOUR DUTY 1 HOUR BEFORE THE PUBLISHED RACE START PLEASE ENSURE YOUR ATTENDANCES IS LOGGED BY THE DUTY SAILING COMMITTEE MEMBER
