Lee on the Solent Sailing Club

The club is a long established, family friendly sailing club. Located on the edge of the finest sailing waters the club offers a full range of sailing activities including club racing, cruising and training. The club has a range of dingy and catamaran classes that race regularly.

In addition the club has a strong and vibrant social scene and offers a purely social membership to those preferring not to sail but wish to enjoy the club atmosphere and the company of its members.

 

Activities at the Club

A full sailing programme is available to members with club racing held on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. The club also runs a number of open meetings during the year. Informal sailing and dinghy cruising opportunities are scheduled throughout the year. The annual Club regatta is in July. Sailing Activities Overview

 

The club provides RYA recognised training for its members. Sail training for adults and cadets is provided on Saturday mornings during the summer. Other training sessions are arranged on specialised areas together with ad hoc sessions on topical subjects.  View the training programme.

 

Clubhouse

The clubhouse located on the front at Lee on the Solent, includes a large function room and fully licensed bar. The club chef and his team provide a full menu. For detail see the social activities pages.

 

Snooker

Play Snooker on tables from Osbourne House and take part in the many fun tournaments during the year. There are also Table Tennis and Pool facilities.
