Social Events

Lee on the Solent Sailing Club operates a strong social programme, utilising the club's bar and club room facilities in the main club house.

 
In addition to sailing membership the club offers a Social Membership for those wishing to only make use of the club's social facilities.

RYA Level 1 Course

The weekend of Saturday & Sunday the 12th & 13th May 2012 saw the first RYA Level 1 Adult Sailing Course run by Club Instructors for some of the new members.

The weather for both days was kind considering what we have experienced recently. Saturday was spent both ashore and ashore learning the skills that is required
to sail and build confidence for those who have not sailed before. RYA Level 2 will be taken later in the year and will follow the similar format of achieving the required standard over a whole weekend.

There are still places available so if you need to register then please do so

First Aid Success

Congratulations to the following members who passed with flying colours the club's first training course of 2012.


The one day RYA First Aid refresher was successfully passed by the following Club Members:
